We’ve been seeing a lot more black tableware lately and while we’re sure that it will never replace basic white, we’re beginning to wonder if a new trend is on the rise. Today’s black dishware is a far cry from the 80s fusion cuisine look.
We love our dishes every colour of the rainbow but something about black is dramatic and sleek.
Black also emphasizes the graphic shapes and colours of dishes. Scattering pink and red radishes, crisp circles of green cucumber, a pile of tiny carrots on the black surface and plop a stiff goat cheese dip or homemade hummus off on one side. Ravishing!
With the bright colours of summer ingredients, black tableware will be sure to bring out the best in your creations this season! Dare to be different.
