Last night, December 22nd, 2016, completed the tour de force in Trentino Alto Adige with the last men’s Ski World Cup race before Christmas: the night Slalom in Madonna di Campiglio.

The Norwegian Henrik Kristoffersen managed to defend his first round lead beating the Austrian Marcel Hirscher and dominating the overall standings, by 0.33 seconds. Third place on the podium was the Italian Stefano Gross.

The Slalom uses ski slope 3-Tre, which is one of the most spectacular of the Ski World Cup: the alpine races use the Canalone Miramonti track, the final part of which is both technical and demanding with sharp elevation changes.

As an event sponsor there was an outdoor Jacuzzi® hot tub for all those brave enough to experience the thrill of a bath in the snow. Another hot tub for people to enjoy was located in Piazza Righi, the location that hosted the 3-Tre Party Night.

During the interval between the two rounds our promotion team gave people the chance to play Ski to Win, our competition to celebrate the sponsorship of ski world cup races. Up for grabs there are tech gadgets, a video game console, a weekend in a 5 star hotel and many other prizes including a J-480™ hot tub.

After the Christmas break, the men’s Ski World Cup will resume with the three days at Santa Caterina (on December 27th, 28th and 29th ), where the sprinters will be involved in a Super G, a Downhill and an Alpine Combined
